BOOKING AND PRICING INFORMATION
The rental for the chateau in low season is £2,800.00.
There is a low season period by default which applies to the whole year with the following exception:
- HIGH-SEASON FROM 1st JULY TO AUGUST 30th £3,980.00
Weekend gourmet breaks are charged at £1,500.00 with up to 4 couples, these breaks require numbers in order to bring down the cost of the rental to a reasonable per capita spend, the house then provides food as per the main site.
Other party bookings for adults wishing to spend a birthday holiday together are charged at £1,000.00 per couple with a minimum of three couples per party, this is not bookable on the usual calendar system on this site and is by arrangement only. The house has a capacity to take up to 6 couples. children under the age of 16 are not permitted on party booking.
The booking pre-requisite has a deposit requirement of 30% of the total booking price within 2 days of the reservation and a refundable security deposit of £1,000.00 is payable with the balance of the total booking fee no later than 12 weeks before the date of the booking.
With today’s, ever present, negative security issues, all/any payments seem to be left to a leap of faith. This makes the simple process of transaction extremely difficult especially where the product or service cannot be touched or seen, therefore, the site advises all prospective clients to make payments via their credit cards, in this way the transaction is fully insured. One needs only to instruct one’s bank to place the requisite amount into one’s credit card account and then instruct the credit card handler/bank to make the payment to the site. The transaction is then fully insured which can only serve to give one a peace of mind.

CANCELLATIONS;
If the holiday is cancelled 12 weeks before the booking date then a full refund will be made.
A cancellation of the booking following that 12 week period will result in refund only if the chateau has managed to fill the vacant slot resulting from your late cancellation.
The security deposit is returned to you on the day of departure and this is subject to damage control of the house following your holiday. On a sound note the house does not charge for breakages under a replacement cost of 10 euros and the house has never had to retain part of the security deposit in all its years as a holiday venue.
THE CHANGEOVER DAY
Arrival at the house is from 430 pm each Saturday and departure each Saturday before 1030 am.
By arrangement the children’s food will be made ready between 5pm and 6pm on day of arrival.
In the case of 2 week booking the house offers a full Sunday roast dinner including wine for the entire family followed by a home made desert or a cheeseboard cognacs and port on the second Sunday of your stay.
